This popular event has been running since 1975. Join us in 2025 and help us celebrate 50 years.

The Week offers a mix of golf competitions and local entertainment. It regularly attracts around 100 participants to Royal Deeside and the beautiful village of Ballater.

Partners are arranged for all golfing events so there is no need to worry about attending on your own, the friendly staff and club members are always happy to help during your visit.

As part of your package daily tuition is provided by our PGA Professional, Bill Yule.



The 2025 event commences on Saturday 10th May.

Registration day - join the Ballater members in their weekly sweeper.
In the evening join the other participants at the Welcome Dinner (cost tba)

Texas Scramble

Monday 12th May
Stableford

Tuesday 13th May
Championship 1st Round - Division 1 Stroke play ; Division 2 Stableford

Wednesday 14th May
Free day. Why not take the chance to explore the many attractions the area has to offer or golf at Balmoral for a nominal green fee. (Balmoral Castle is His Majesty, the King's Scottish holiday residence)

Championship 2nd Round

Friday 16th May
Mixed Greensomes
Longest drive ~ Nearest the pin ~ enjoy a "Tipple at the 13th" before you attempt the "Shot across the Dee"
In the evening a Prize Giving Dinner is held (cost tba)
