There are interesting holes, picturesque holes and challenging holes. The terrain is generally level so it is not a gruelling course to play

Ballater Golf Club is a friendly club where new members are made to feel welcome. Our clubhouse is a great place for socialising with your friends or family. Children are made welcome.

Tee times for competitions, casual golf and visitors can all be booked online quickly and easily via the website.

Get an Official Club Handicap: Only by being a member can you attain an official CONGU handicap. Playing competitions regularly will allow you to get a handicap which reflects your playing standard.

A full size snooker table is available for use by members & visitors.

Our men’s Seniors Section welcomes new members and hold organised competitions. The Seniors Section also participate in regular team matches against clubs in the area providing the opportunity to play different courses and socialise with golfers from other clubs in the area.

We have a fantastic Ladies Section which hold organised competitions with the main competition day being Wednesday. They participate in regular competitive team matches against other clubs in the area. Ladies play informal games every Saturday and Sunday lunchtime

Ballater Golf Club Junior Section is designed to grow the game by allowing boys and girls to golf in a fun, affordable and instructional way. Whether the junior has been playing for years, or recently introduced to golf, our program allows juniors of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to grow their knowledge and experiences out on the golf course.
